Bible Studies
What is a Bible Study? – Travelling throughout the bible and learning how God would have us live (on the outside AND on the inside). A true bible study is piercing, challenging, applicable, revealing, encouraging, corrective, instructive, liberating, revelatory, and AMAZING!
MISSION & OBJECTIVES
REPENTANCE - To fix our eyes on Jesus, making him 1st in our lives; turning from the things which displease him, and making our walk with him our greatest priority - falling in Love with Him.
SALVATION– To follow the biblically outlined “plan of salvation” and walk with an assurance of our salvation; continually enduring and walking with Jesus Christ.
FELLOWSHIP - To follow the command of God by plugging into God's Church, his Ministry, and his people.
OBEDIENCE - To continually prepare and “ready” ourselves for the Kingdom of God by the power of His Word and His Spirit
FAITH – To build your Faith with God’s Word, Presence, and Spirit. Faith Comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Rom 10:17).
HOPE – To give Hope by learning the promises and desires God has for our lives.
LOVE - Encouraging one another towards growth and holiness in the Lord
POWER – To move beyond the “traditional” into a real dimension of God’s Power and Demonstration of the Spirit (1 Cor 2:4, Acts 1:8). By encouraging daily pursuit of the move of the Holy Ghost and believing in his miracle working power and abilities.
STRATEGY
WISDOM - To instill Godly judgment and discernment for future situations, temptations, and maturing factors.
KNOWLEDGE - To increase Biblical knowledge across a vast array of subjects and stories in the bible
APPLICATION – To bring the Word of God into our every day lives and situations. And provide Key tools for facing what we will through our lives.
POWER OF GOD – To allow and invite God’s presence into every bible study. Ministering and Teaching the Word under his anointing.
FREEDOM - To go as deep as YOU desire and the Spirit WILL take us.
TECHNIQUES
TRUTH - Teaching is derived from God's Word and His Word alone (no "extra-biblical sources").
THE WORD – Anointed, Infallible, & Inerrant is the Bible and for that reason God has placed within it every free-standing tool that we need to attain salvation and walk with him daily.
HIS SPIRIT – God must impart revelation spiritually for revelation to be received. A true bible study is NOT about head knowledge alone, it is a time where you gain head knowledge (mental impartation/revelation) AND spiritual revelation (spiritual impartation/revelation). For this reason we encourage God, the author of the Bible, to reveal his Word not only to our minds but to our hearts. Only by His Spirit can we gain supernatural revelation and impartation.
