Abundant Life Tabernacle

The Israelites celebrated Pentecost to commemorate the Ten Commandments given on Mt. Sinai. Similarly, Just as God came down upon the mountain to give the Law, He came down upon the disciples in Jerusalem on the “Day of Pentecost” to pour out His Spirit and begin His Church (Acts 1:8).

About 2000 years ago when we read this account in the book of “Acts” we see that on the “Day of Pentecost” there was an amazing outpouring of the Holy Ghost on many of Jesus’ disciples. This move of God was profound and life changing. God’s power filled 120 people in a way they had never experienced before. These newly empowered believers would later become known by how they “turned the world upside down” for Jesus (Acts 17:6). From that moment on, God has been pouring out his Spirit in an ever increasingly miraculous way. 

This year on “Pentecost Sunday” we are going to celebrate the Power of God and the Revival that he has been pouring out for thousands of years. Since that first great outpouring of God’s Spirit, there have been powerful conversions and experiences from “sea to sea,” across the entire planet. God’s church is growing by millions per year across the world. Let’s continue to share this experience with family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers; many of them are also in desperate need of God’s redemption.
